I joined UHY Haines Norton Brisbane as Partner in 2004 and have been in the accountancy field for almost 20 years. At UHY Haines Norton I deliver accounting and taxation services to a wide range of clients aswell as specialising in; - Business Improvement Consulting - Business Valuations - Real Estate Industry Services I pride myself on making the complicated sound simple and practice this approach across all of my work. My business improvement work focuses on boosting the success of my clients' businesses through implementing strategies to reduce waste, increase sales and improve cash flow. Beyond profit improvement strategies, my work involves the refinement and development of business processes, business and marketing plans, valuations, feasibility studies and reports, financial management (including budgets, forecast and accounting systems) and advice on business development strategies. I also provide a range of general accountancy services which I tailor to SMEs of all shapes and sizes. I have a particular expertise within the Real Estate industry, where I have built a large portfolio of clients and contacts. As a result of my expertise I am often asked to present at industry events and write articles for sector specific publications. From a valuation perspective I enjoy apply my knowledge of valuation processes and methodologies to help stakeholders understand the drivers of value in their business and ultimately achieve their long term strategic goals.
